Service dogs are more than just highly trained companions—they provide independence, confidence, and safety to the individuals who rely on them every day. Their work is invaluable and deeply impactful.

Service dogs are defined as dogs that are task trained to mitigate an individual's disability.

Our service dog training program is built on trust, precision, and a deep respect for the bond between handler and dog. We are committed to developing confident, reliable, focused, and task-trained service dogs that can meet the unique needs of each individual.

Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.

REQUIREMENTS

- Recommendation for a service animal for a diagnosed medical condition from a board-certified practitioner or specialist that you or your dependent have been treated by for at least 1 year.

PROCESS

I will do an in-depth evaluation of an animal you already have to determine if they are suitable to be a service dog prospect. This cost is $40 USD.

If you do not have a dog and are looking into getting a puppy or dog as a service dog prospect, I have a list of ethical local rescues and breeders that can help you find a canine partner. I can also assist in this search for the right dog and help prepare you for bringing home your pup. This cost is $25 USD.

If you are looking for an Emotional Support Animal certification, you must have a diagnosed psychiatric disability that substantially limits major life activities, and the animal must provide therapeutic benefit by alleviating symptoms and a letter must be provided by a licensed mental health professional.

I do not do therapy dog certifications but there are incredible local trainers that do.
