Training dogs sparked when I was young while working with my family's Great Danes which lead me to start working with and handling a wide range of other people's dogs from restless Terriers, stubborn Dachshunds and tireless Miniature Schnauzers, energetic Golden Retrievers, driven Standard Poodles, friendly Samoyeds and more!

Alongside competing in American Kennel Club and United Kennel Club events, I participated in 4-H and competed in my local county's dog show, placing first in Showmanship and Agility which allowed me to compete at the state level where I placed first in Showmanship with a class of 16 teams.

I have achieved American Canine College ABC's of Canine Anatomy and ABC's of Dog Breeding, Pedigree certifications as well as completing the Dog Degree: I and Dog: Degree II courses and achieving a Certification in Dog, Certification in Animal Nutrition and Certification in Animal Wellness through my prior position at Pet Supplies Plus.

I am a GoodPup Certified Trainer. I am expanding my education by working towards obtaining certifications from various accredited institutions including the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultations, Certification Council of Pet Dog Trainers (CCPDT), American Kennel Club, Fear Free Pets and New Skills Academy so I can provide the best support to my clients and be recognized for my substantial understanding of ethology, obedience, and behavior modification. I strongly emphasize training the dog in front of you. Understanding your dog as an individual to guide them.
